Q Where do you hire to?

We are based in Sheffield and will happily hire to the rest of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire. If you're further afield then please contact us to discuss.

 

Q How much is the hire charge?

We charge per item so you only pay for the items you need, with a minimum order charge of £25 (excluding delivery charges).

The only other cost is the delivery which is charged at 60 pence per mile travelled (based on your distance from our premises in Sheffield) with a minimum delivery charge of £15.

So, if you are 10 miles away from our base, we will need to make the journey 4 times, that's a total of 40 miles. 40 miles at 60p a mile works out at £24.

 

Q When do I pay?

You will be invoiced for the full amount on booking and full payment is required on or before delivery.

You can pay by cash, cheque, bank transfer, or using credit or debit card (for which a 5% surcharge will apply).

 

Q What if I break something (or it's lost or damaged)?

Any items damaged or lost will be invoiced post-event as per the following breakage charges...

Q How are the items returned?

There's no need for you to wash the items, just wrap them carefully in the packaging provided and we'll come and whisk them away.

 

Q Can I hire for any occasion?

Yes, you most certainly can! As long as the china is treated with care and respect.

 

Q Will the items match?

All our teacups and saucers are matching, with the rest of our collection being consistent in theme and elegance.

 

Q How do I book?

Simply pop over to our contact page and let us know which items you would like to hire, how many people you are catering for, the date of your event, along with your name and contact details.

 

Q How long can I keep the items for?

Our normal hire period is up to 48 hours, but if you need the items for longer we're happy to oblige - we'll give you each extra day of hire for half the original price.

 

Q Can I change my mind about my order?

Absolutely, if you want to add extra items or tweak your order, we're happy to amend - please just get in touch. However, if you wish to cancel your order, you can do so up to one month beforehand for a fee of 25% of the hire charge, after this time it will be charged at the full rate.

 

Q What if something is damaged on arrival?

Then please notify us straight away or breakage charges will apply. See our terms of hire for more.
